Abstract
Optimum lubrication in various operating conditions is crucial for achieving high efficiency and reliable performance in electric powertrains. The current industry approach to control oil flow by standard jets at the end of the parallel flow paths often results in suboptimal oil flow to rotor, stator, and bearings. The proposed solution discloses flow restrictors placed upstream to control oil flow and velocity to stator, rotor, and bearings resulting in optimum lubrication.
