Abstract
The company requires an azimuthal coiled tubing service for applications in Khuff Carbonates in KSA where sequences of cyclic carbonate-evaporite deposits with reservoirs from a few ft to tens of ft thick are very challenging to navigate. A feasibility study identified a coiled-tubing azimuthal gamma-ray service to be a promising technology for the application. Currently, we only offers only bulk natural gamma-ray coiled-tubing downhole tools with a central probe housing and a gamma-ray detector with tubing made of Ti, Cu, stainless steel (SS) and Ni alloys.
