Abstract

Abstract (Part 10 of 27)

After a multi-agent plan is frozen for independent evaluation, a specific communication may still be needed to correct missing information, request evidence, obtain clarification, or revise a detail. Conventional systems tend to reopen a full bidirectional session, leave a bearer token reusable, allow queued callbacks to continue, or assume that a successful send means the message was delivered and acted on. Any such reopening can change the jointly committed state and invalidate the evaluator’s conclusions. A timed-out broker may have accepted a request even when the sender received no response, and a blind retry can duplicate instructions or create conflicting plans.

Difference from earlier parts: Earlier embodiments control the joint plan, the freeze, the evaluation snapshot, risk assessment, next-actor selection, plan corrections, and agent role reconfiguration. This embodiment specifically controls selective, single-turn communication resumption — permitting only one identified message without restoring general communication capability, then automatically returning the agents to a protected hold.

This embodiment (Part 10 of a 27-part series under Indian Patent Application Number 202631131650; full details at https://zenodo.org/records/23940766) implements protected next-turn admission. After verified joint-plan commitment and effective quiescence, the independent evaluator may recommend one specific communication (sender, destination, message class, and phase). Each affected organization independently approves the exact bounded edge. An authorized issuer creates a single-use, non-bearer next-turn grant. The protected sending gateway atomically consumes the grant and stages only that one message; the receiving gateway separately decides whether to accept it. Success of any earlier step is never inferred from a later one, and remote uncertainty remains explicit. After the turn, the participating agents remain in or return to a protected frozen or inter-phase hold. The mechanism is communication-only; physical, monetary, or other external effects still require separately defined passports and local Finality Sink checks.

The architecture therefore allows precisely scoped, auditable one-message exchanges during evaluation while ensuring that agents cannot resume unrestricted communication or treat a send as completed action.
