Abstract
The technology described in this paper relates to a current sharing method for digital voltage-mode power converters connected in parallel. Specifically, the disclosed technology introduces a current sharing loop that calculates the discrepancy between the local output current and the average current of the power stages and adjusts the voltage loop integrator value based on this error. By modifying the integrator state directly, the system enables immediate duty cycle correction without increasing the control system’s order. This approach achieves rapid and stable current sharing within the switching period while maintaining high voltage regulation accuracy without the need for traditional droop methods.
