Abstract
Individual contributors in a large-scale project can find it challenging to maintain a comprehensive understanding of project status and trajectory because of information overload. from project-wide updates from multiple information sources. Current large language model (LLM) generated summaries are based only on a single information source and are not personalized. This disclosure describes an LLM-based artificial intelligence (AI) agent for automatically providing users with periodic personalized digests of relevant project-related updates based on information obtained with permission from multiple data sources. With specific user permission, data from various project-related information sources such as collaboration platform, project management platform, document repository, communication channels, etc. is aggregated into a central index. An LLM-based AI agent automatically generates personalized information digests from new information according to user specified granular preferences and trigger conditions. This enables users to receive personally relevant and important updates about critical project developments in a timely manner, thus reducing information overload and manual effort to retrieve project-related information.
