Abstract
Existing artificial intelligence solutions and other solutions for invoice automation lack personalization, leading to inaccurate invoice generation. These generic solutions fail to understand the unique communication styles and contractual agreements between a user and their various clients, resulting in either erroneous or overly cautious behavior. This disclosure describes a hierarchical, adaptive method for personalized invoice workflow automation. The method uses a multi-layered architecture, including a foundational intent model and lightweight, user-specific and client-specific adapters. A continuous, privacy-preserving feedback loop captures user actions, such as approving or dismissing a suggested invoice, to fine-tune the client-specific adapters asynchronously. This approach allows the technology to dynamically adapt its understanding of project completion triggers for each distinct client relationship. This system leads to an increase in the accuracy and reliability of automated invoice generation, which builds user trust and eliminates the need for manual rule configuration.
