Abstract
A method for controlling parameters for drilling equipment on a drilling rig includes receiving input data. The input data is related to a health, a performance, and/or an ambient condition of drilling equipment on a drilling rig. The method also includes determining that the input data includes a plurality of predetermined fields. The method also includes determining that a quality of the input data is greater than a quality threshold. The method also includes simulating a plurality of scenarios based upon the input data. Each scenario includes one or more parameters that are set to different values than in the other scenarios. The scenarios are simulated using a machine learning (ML) model. The method also includes comparing the scenarios based upon cost and/or production. The method also includes modifying the one or more parameters based upon the comparison.
