Abstract

When a user using a Bluetooth Headset (call/music) and moves away from the Bluetooth Host, he experiences the audio becoming choppy or completely lost depending upon the various factors which culminates into Bluetooth range/coverage. Some headsets can operate up to 100 feet/ 30 m from the host by switching from class 2 to class 1 operation (based on proximity to the host) this helps to optimize the battery life.
