Abstract

A hybrid image sensor is configured to operate in each of a high-resolution RGB mode, a QVGA mono CV mode, and a SVGA RGB CAI mode. Such an image sensor may include a high-resolution pixel array, a configurable signal binning circuit, and a configurable read-out circuit.
