Abstract
A laser display has a dynamically adjustable field of view, brightness, and resolution. An example display includes a multi-emitter laser diode configured to emit laser light, a 2D scanner block configured to receive the emitted laser light, a fast-axis collimator disposed between the laser diode and the scanner block, and a slow-axis collimator disposed between the fast-axis collimator and the scanner block, where the slow-axis collimator includes a variable waveplate and a Pancharatnam-Berry lens.
