Abstract
This invention provides a method for quickly and precisely observing and measuring arthropods while minimizing harm and damage. With estimates of as low as only 12% of all arthropods discovered (including insects and spiders, commonly referred to as “bugs”), a need exists to enhance efficient capture and documentation, for this scientific effort of ecological discovery. Methods of capture often involve capturing and permanent storage that kill the organism; thus, for rare specimens presents an ecological and scientific risk, as well as moral hazard.
