Abstract
A virtual meeting platform can determine whether to enable a participant’s microphone by determining a reference embedding for first-received participant voice data; determining a current embedding for second-received participant voice data; determining whether a difference between the reference embedding and the current embedding satisfies a distance threshold; and responsive to determining the difference between the reference embedding and the current embedding satisfies the distance threshold, instructing the participant’s client device to enable the participant’s microphone.
