Abstract
LTE Cat-M1 is a Low-Power, Wide-Area Network (LP-WAN) designed specifically for purpose-built devices (like trackers) that transmit small to medium amounts of data over wide ranges.
While implementing the LTE Cat-M1 into the laptop, it would periodically report the position and device status to the cloud server even the laptop is in power save mode (S4/S5) without OS operation.
In this disclosure, we are going to further enhance the low power feature, minimize the total amount of data transfer (within a fixed period), and further enhance the trajectory accuracy of Cat-M1 module in the laptop.
