Abstract
This innovation solves issues in EVPN BGP Graceful Restart (GR) by adding EVPN Route type Information in a BGP update carrying an End of RIB (EOR) message in such a way that BGP speaker sends separate EOR for each EVPN Route Type, enables faster convergence. The Normal EOR message does not selectively work on EVPN Route Type. This adds delay in BGP GR convergence. Since some EVPN route types are part of different BGP RIB tables, it is more logical to have separate EORs for different Route Types.
