Abstract
Media content providers can provide media content of different varieties to a television (TV) application that then presents the media content for viewing by a user. For example, the user may watch and/or listen to the media content on a mobile computing device such as a laptop computer, tablet computer, or smartphone. The user may also watch and/or listen to the media content on a TV set (e.g., a smart television). In some implementations, a provider of the TV application may analyze and evaluate each media content item provided by the media content providers before allowing the TV application to present the media content item as a choice for the user of the TV application to select for viewing.
