Abstract
Techniques are presented herein that support a carbon dioxide equivalent (CO2eq) adjustment factor that may be applied during the design and deployment of a networking device in, for example, a data center environment. Such an adjustment factor may consider the impact of altitude or elevation on, among other things, power consumption, cooling requirements, heat dissipation, and other related environmental design-impacting considerations.
