Abstract

The present disclosure relates to providing a system and method for next generation payment cards which may be conveniently accessed by all, especially the visually impaired customers. It discloses a technique of providing engraved patterns on front side of the payment card to differentiate between the front and back side of the card along with providing a sensory reaction to the user to differentiate between different types of payment cards as specific engraved patterns may be linked to a particular category of payment cards. Further, the back side of the payment card encompasses the 6 unique alphabetic characters which may be embedded in braille as well to facilitate the user to get hold of requisite information by touch interaction only. This technique thus facilitates the financial inclusion of the all the demographics, especially the users with serious visual impairments.
