Abstract

The present disclosure relates to a method for enabling use of smartphones by visually challenged users using haptic rendering. The disclosed method suggests receiving a notification on a user device, indicating for example, receipt of a new message or a transaction request. Thereafter, the message/transaction request is processed by performing a long hold on a specific area of screen of the user device or the outer case of the user device. Subsequently, the user may approve the message/request based on the user’s requirement. The approved message or request is displayed on both the screen of the user device and the case of the user device.
