Abstract
The present disclosure relates to automated detection of known issues and recovery by Network Management System (NMS)/Software Defined Networking (SDN) applications. The present disclosure includes an NMS/SDN application which provides automated detection and recovery of known issues as per pre-defined rules; user configurable option to raise notifications in the NMS or apply workarounds as well in the NMS after a known issue is encountered; allows handling issues which are seen post deployment as well by entering trigger conditions and workaround steps; includes log generation for customer analysis/product quality analysis activities; and can be used to apply workarounds on third party equipment which can talk to the NMS using Open API/Open Platform models.
