Abstract
Using a web camera during virtual meetings has become increasingly important in today’s digital world. It enables participants to connect in a more personal way, providing a visual element that can enhance communication and build rapport. This disclosure describes a method that allows meeting participants to use their smartphones, for example, as additional cameras during the online event. Through the proposed method, a custom object detection model might be used to automatically select among the different input sources. The outcome of the proposed solution allows participants to automatically switch between the different cameras simply by showing which camera should be used.
