Abstract

This disclosure describes a new method to calibrate the cross‐web position of a fiducial mark sensor relative to the content that is printed upstream of the sensor. The method involves printing a pattern of horizontal and diagonal lines, using the sensor to detect their positions, and calculating a cross‐web position correction value.
