Abstract
A pre-boot protocol enabling any operating system to identify connected hardware via open manifests, retrieve only the cryptographically signed drivers required, cache them locally, and operate offline — all below the OS layer. Vendor-neutral and OS-agnostic, the protocol functions as infrastructure any computing environment can use without modification.
