Abstract
The disclosure describes techniques in which, upon creation of a derived content item, a system evaluates whether the derived item is equivalent to an ancestor item across defined delivery-relevant content fields that map to moderation review components. If the derived item is eligible and equivalent to an approved ancestor decision within a recency window and not within excluded conditions, the system publishes the derived item by inheriting the ancestor moderation decision and setting a user-intended run state. The system also schedules a concurrent re-review of the now-live derived item, and retracts or otherwise enforces if the re-review identifies a violation. The inheritance check is performed within a state-transition trigger associated with entering a pending-review stage, and a post-commit observer uses a persisted flag to schedule the re-review.
