Abstract

This disclosure presents a fully engineered, open‑hardware 6,000 BTU hybrid cooling system capable of native 24V DC operation, ultra‑low acoustic output (≤30 dB), and sustained anti‑icing performance at 90–95% relative humidity. The system integrates multiple previously published open‑hardware inventions from the Caldwell portfolio, including J‑Groove Helical Rifling (GCI #18), Gyroid Acoustic Shell (GCI #256), Transpiration Condensate Pre‑Cooling (GCI #14), ReGenX Adaptive Freeze Prevention (GCI #93), Arachne‑NTC Resonant Sensors (GCI #63), and Arachne‑Doped Sealants (GCI #158). All referenced inventions can be found on TDCommons by searching their GCI numbers. The resulting architecture is a lightweight, off‑grid‑capable, anti‑icing, ultra‑quiet cooling system suitable for humanitarian relief, disaster response, and low‑power environments.
