Abstract
Disclosed is a method for discharging an erasure request in an agent memory whose records are copied, aggregated and derived across hops and nodes. An erasure request at the origin propagates transitively along declared derivation edges into every derived store, and completion is demonstrable by a re-runnable query returning zero rows rather than asserted by a receipt. The disclosure pins three obligations (derivation recorded as an explicit edge at write time, fan-out along those edges rather than at the addressed store alone, and a query as the post-condition) and describes the enabling arrangement, including the separation between the record of events, which survives in redacted form, and the recoverability of content, which does not; the bitemporal excision that preserves a verifiable audit chain across an erasure; and the principal-scoping that keeps a fan-out from touching another principal's rows. Also disclosed is a failure mode that is not obvious: a storage-level referential cascade reaches the direct projection of an erased record but not the derived stores, so a system relying on cascade alone reports success while derived copies survive.
