Abstract
A browser-based agent controlling system is disclosed for intelligently handling contextual information associated with browser-agent interactions when a user opens a new browser tab, browser window, browser instance, application interface, or computing device. The system maintains contextual information associated with one or more browser-agent sessions and determines whether an agentic interface to be instantiated within a newly created browsing environment. The system further determines whether contextual information to be inherited, copied, synchronized, shared, isolated, or otherwise propagated to the newly created browsing environment. Such determinations may be based on domain similarity, content similarity, website category classifications, user interaction history, aggregate usage patterns, contextual relevance, sensitivity classifications, device relationships, or combinations thereof. By managing context propagation across browsing environments, the system improves continuity of browser-agent interactions while reducing irrelevant, redundant, or sensitive context sharing.
