Abstract
This device relates to a platen configuration for large‑format printers that include removable media edge holders. The device introduces a dedicated parking zone in which a portion of the platen surface is recessed by several millimeters. This defined zone allows edge holders to be positioned below the operational envelope of the carriage when not in use. As a result, mechanical interference and collision risks are significantly reduced.
