Abstract
The present publication provides a process for the purification of 2-ethoxy-1-{[2'-(1-trityl-1H-tetraazol-5-yl) [1,1'-biphenyl]-4-yl] methyl}-1H-benzimidazole-7-carboxylic acid, more particularly N-trityl candesartan, represented by the following structural Formula I.
