Abstract

The present disclosure relates to a process for the preparation of the crystalline forms of 2-[3,5-dichloro-4-(5-isopropyl-6-oxo-1,6-dihydropyridazin-3-yloxy) phenyl]-3,5-dioxo-2,3,4,5-tetra hydro[1,2,4]triazine-6-carbonitrile represented by the following structural formula-1, herein after referred as Resmetirom.
