Abstract

The GCI‑30 is a manufacturable, cost‑realistic jet‑ignition spark plug featuring a 0.25 cc vortex pre‑chamber, six adjustable louvers (20°–35°), and a steel Spider‑Web electrode plated with 25–50 µm silver.

It is designed as a drop‑in retrofit for 9.8–10.5:1 compression engines and provides stable lean‑burn ignition, improved flame‑kernel formation, and thermal survivability up to 850 °C for 5,000 cycles.

This disclosure includes complete fabrication instructions, geometry, materials, CFD requirements, test procedures, and expected performance targets so any engineering team can build and validate a prototype.
