Abstract
A PC‑camera‑based HDR system for capturing whiteboard or document surfaces. It detects when the scene contains a plain surface, triggers multi‑exposure capture, classifies regions into strokes/background/glare, and performs a specialized merging algorithm. The method recovers faint handwriting, prevents overexposure, reduces glare, and produces readable captures suitable for meeting notes.
