Abstract

GCI #285 – Hyperion Seed Accelerator v3.3 is an open‑hardware, multi‑modal seed‑priming platform integrating dual‑frequency ultrasound, nanobubble oxygenation, mechanical stimulation, and direct‑to‑soil rooting to accelerate germination and improve early vigor in high‑value crops, fruit trees, and reforestation species.

The system combines:

• 20/60 kHz ultrasound for seed‑coat weakening and accelerated water uptake,

• a vortex‑driven nanobubble generator for enhanced dissolved oxygen delivery,

• a 55N tensioned Arachne substrate for uniform low‑frequency mechanostimulation, and

• a mycorrhiza‑rich soil buffer enabling immediate root anchoring with zero transplant shock.

Based on published ultrasound and nanobubble research, Hyperion targets 15–30% faster germination, 5–20% higher germination percentage, and 20–100% stronger early vigor in responsive species.
