Abstract
This Addendum formally discloses three novel extensions to the ALLFROMAIR® TERRA² Tri-Generation Platform, with thermodynamically verified calculations for Desert (40°C/30%RF) and Tropical Max (40°C/80%RF) climate scenarios.
The first disclosure — SVRU4 Cascade Condensation — establishes a fourth condenser unit (SVRU4), constructed identically to SVRU1 (Heresite P-413, 316L SS), positioned after SVRU3 in the exhaust air stream. SVRU4 condenses moisture from the saturated exhaust (32–34°C/100%RF) using seawater or a pre-cooled buffer as cold medium, producing an additional 99,700–280,000 L/day in desert and 213,000–322,000 L/day in tropical conditions depending on cold medium temperature. This gain applies in both Mode A and Mode B operation. In Mode B — the standard mode for desert and tropical installations, where Q_DH is redirected to the supplementary evaporation module for maximum water output — SVRU4 further increases total production beyond the supplementary module output, reaching up to 561,000 L/day (desert, seawater baseline) and 759,000 L/day (tropical, seawater baseline) combined.
The second disclosure — Diurnal Thermal Loop — establishes that desert inland installations use a dry air cooler (fan-driven, zero water consumption, ~30–50 kW) to pre-cool a buffer tank. Without coating, the dry air cooler achieves T_buffer ≈ 25°C (limited by dry-bulb temperature). With an optional SiO₂/HfO₂ selective radiative coating on sky-facing surfaces, the panel temperature drops 5.2 K below ambient, achieving T_buffer ≈ 19.3°C and ~180,650 L/day SVRU4 production — an 81% improvement versus uncoated operation, with zero additional electrical input. Three correction factors are applied: convective airflow penalty (h = 12 W/m²K), sky view factor (F = 0.70), and weather availability (80% clear desert nights). Tropical coastal installations use direct seawater — no buffer loop is required. Return water from SVRU4 and SVRU3 is combined, oxygenated via Venturi injector (8–12 mg O₂/L), and returned to sea at controlled temperature via AI-CORE flow regulation.
The third disclosure — HX4 Repositioning — places the heat pump evaporator after SVRU4 on pre-cooled exhaust air (22°C), improving COP by 60–101% versus operation on uncooled exhaust (32–34°C). HX4 additionally produces ~15,000–25,000 L/day through condensation of the cooled exhaust stream, managed automatically by AI-CORE based on available compressor residual capacity. SVRU4 construction is identical to SVRU1 (Heresite P-413, 316L SS, direct condensation on cold surfaces), using the standard TERRA² component set without new technology.
