Abstract

This paper describes a composite automobile switching system that will enable the users to dynamically switch required automobiles based on the users’ preferences and the journey types. The composite automobile switching system will consists of a collection of automobiles, a collection of passengers or people utilizing the automobiles, a collection of refuel stations, a collection of recharging stations and an online automobile booking and trip payment system. The collection of automobiles that will be included within the composite automobile switching system will be required to have the dual capability of being able to self-drive when required and the capability to function as a non- self-driving automobile when required. In the composite automobile switching system, there will be 2 categories of automobiles. The 2 categories of automobiles are namely, the automobiles that are in the ready state and the automobiles that are in the non-ready state. The automobiles that are in the ready state, will have the capability to engage in at least one journey and will have the capability to additionally travel to a refuel station or a recharging station, utilizing the fuel state or the charge state, after the journey or journeys. The automobiles that are in the non-ready state, will either be required to travel to a refuel station or a recharging station, utilizing the current fuel state or the current charge state, prior to engaging in a journey and will then be required to gain the capability of the automobiles that are in the ready state category.
