Abstract
This disclosure technicalizes GCI Invention #259, an ultra-efficient 6,000 BTU cooling system optimized for both standard 110-120V AC residential power and 24V DC native off-grid operation. The system integrates GCI Invention #18 (J-Groove Helical Rifling) within the evaporator and condenser coils to induce high-velocity centrifugal refrigerant distribution. This prevents laminar pooling and eliminates coil icing in high-humidity (90%+ RH) environments by maintaining a uniform phase-change film across 100% of the internal coil surface.
The chassis utilizes a #256 Gyroid-Lattice structural shell made of recycled polymers, providing an acoustic dampening barrier (≤30 dB) and achieving a total operational weight of 29 lbs. Efficiency is further enhanced by #14 Transpiration Skin, a hydrophilic coating that harvests internal condensate to provide evaporative pre-cooling to the condenser coils, yielding a 15-25% improvement in Coefficient of Performance (COP) without external water input. This hardware is intended for disaster-relief, humanitarian, and sustainable residential utility.
