The present invention provides process for the preparation of N-[5-[[4-[4-[(dimethyl amino)methyl]-3-phenyl-1H-pyrazol-1-yl]pyrimidin-2-yl]amino]-4-methoxy-2-(morpholin-4-yl)phenyl]acrylamide mesylate represented by the following structural formula-1.
