Abstract
High-performance electronic devices and/or systems often rely on the usage of fans for cooling. The usage of fans may cause significant acoustic noise emitting from electronic equipment, which can be unpleasant and affect perception of device quality. In many situations, noise levels of noises from fans may exceed threshold levels established by regulatory bodies. Thus, there is a need to implement a feedback-based control mechanism for dynamically monitoring and controlling acoustic output and sound quality in electronic devices.
