Abstract
Collaborative document review often involves a large volume of feedback, including suggested edits, requests for elaboration, and controversial comments. Manually addressing these items can be time-consuming and inefficient for the author, particularly when many comments are trivial or non-controversial. A multi-agent system is disclosed to automate the processing of editorial feedback and redlining. Comments are extracted from a document and classified by an agent. Each comment is assigned a proposed action, such as direct integration into the document, rejection, or elevation for human review. Changes made by the agents are recorded in an audit log. For items requiring manual intervention, a simplified interface is provided to the user to accept, reject, or request further work. The disclosed method improves productivity within collaborative suites by reducing the manual effort required to address document feedback. Routine edits are automated, allowing the user to focus on substantive or controversial content.
