Abstract

Traditional management of media content (e.g., television shows, movies, short form videos, etc.) provided by content partners (e.g., production studios, individual content producers, etc.) may rely on applications with interfaces that include manual dashboards and complex application programming interfaces (APIs) that require a user of the application to have sufficient technical expertise to understand, use, and navigate the interfaces. These interfaces may be rigid and may not support natural language interaction for managing media content lifecycles.

The disclosed technology provides an artificial intelligence system that includes a conversational artificial intelligence portal that interfaces with system and security services to enable the management of information and data associated with media content using a natural language interface. The disclosed technology may make use of an artificial intelligence (AI) agent included in a conversational AI portal as a tool to orchestrate (e.g., manage) conversational reasoning for natural language inputs, and an AI model context protocol that bridges the natural language inputs to backend services for interfacing with a raw data store. The raw data store may include information and data related to media content provided by one or more partners. For example, natural language queries may be interpreted and translated into structured payloads for executing, for example, read operations, such as status checks, and write operations, such as metadata updates, on a backend system that accesses a raw data store. The disclosed technology may maintain data and system security using authentication protocols that gate every transaction involving the raw data store. The disclosed technology may improve operational efficiency for media content management by reducing the technical barriers presented by the current media content management systems, and by automating routine tasks, such as bulk media content updates and root-cause analysis for media content ingestion failures.
