Abstract
This disclosure describes a sound-first digital marketplace platform for the discovery, evaluation, and booking of disc jockeys (DJs) and live music performers. The system enables creators to upload recorded mixes with associated tracklists and metadata, classify content by genre, context, and performance attributes, and maintain real-time availability calendars. Prospective clients, including venues, event organisers, and private customers, can search, audition, and book performers based on verified audio samples rather than social metrics or reputation alone. The platform integrates discovery, scheduling, communication, and transaction workflows, and may further include mechanisms for promoted content placement, performance analytics, and educational content delivery. The disclosed approach establishes a merit-based, audio-centric hiring layer for live music performance, improving talent discovery efficiency, booking transparency, and market liquidity across local and global event ecosystems.
