Abstract
Measurement and Logging While Drilling (M/LWD) tools encounter significant challenges when drilling in high-temperature (HT) oil and gas or geothermal wells. These extreme environments can cause downhole tools to fail and sensors to drift, leading to inaccurate readings and compromising the safety and efficiency of drilling operations. Sensitive electronic components, such as sensors, wiring, and circuit boards, are designed to operate within specific temperature ranges, and prolonged exposure to elevated temperatures can result in malfunction or reduced lifespan.
