Abstract
This paper describes a composite virtual content viewing system that utilizes 8 columns like projection configurations to provide a greater immersion where the virtual content observing composite space will curve horizontally around the field of view of the user. The entire composite virtual content viewing system will contain a right projection system and a left projection system, which are identical to each other. Each projection system will contain 2 projection configurations that will provide a composite central virtual content viewing area and 2 projection configurations that will provide a composite peripheral and far peripheral content viewing area. The 8 containing columns like projection configurations will have the capability to collectively and concurrently project 8 adjacently visible projections onto the field of view of the user of the composite virtual content viewing system. These projected adjacently visible 8 projections will be collectively and concurrently perceived by the user as a one single composite virtual content viewing area, which will curve horizontally around the field of view.
