Abstract
This paper describes a compact composite virtual content viewing system that is bent inwards at the upper and lower edge sections to provide an immersive virtual content viewing experience. The entire composite virtual content viewing system will consist of a top projection system and a bottom projection system, which are identical to each other. Each projection system will contain a centrally located projection configuration and a bent projection configuration. In the compact composite virtual content viewing system, the 2 containing centrally located projection configurations will provide a composite central virtual content viewing area. And the 2 containing bent projection configurations will provide 2 bent virtual content viewing areas at the upper part and the lower part of the compact composite virtual content viewing system. The compact composite virtual content viewing system will have the capability to provide the user of the compact composite virtual content viewing system with an immersive experience in a compact space. And the compact composite virtual content viewing system will be utilized in dual system mode, one composite system per each eye of the user, as a virtual content viewing device. When utilized in the vertical orientation, the compact composite virtual content viewing system will have the capability to provide a vertical field of view enhancing experience, in a compact space. And when utilized in the horizontal orientation, the compact composite virtual content viewing system will have the capability to provide a horizontal field of view enhancing experience, in a compact space.
