Abstract
An innovative solution is proposed herein that provides for integrating artificial intelligence (AI) with Demand Response (DR) techniques in data centers, which can significantly enhance grid resilience as renewable energy penetration increases. By dynamically managing workloads and energy consumption through AI, data centers can actively participate in DR programs under the proposed techniques, thereby providing real-time adjustments to support grid stability during periods of high demand or low supply. Additionally, by leveraging energy storage systems and aligning operations with renewable output, data centers can reduce grid strain and reliance on fossil-fuel peaker plants, thereby contributing to a sustainable energy future. This comprehensive approach combines technology and strategic operational shifts to accelerate decarbonization by providing a stable and flexible electric grid.
