Abstract

Proposed herein are techniques to facilitate secure, reliable communication and emergency management utilizing a software-defined wide area network (SDWAN) controller that can manage a wide area network upon detection of emergency events, such as earthquakes, floods, wildfires, severe weather conditions, etc. by one or more endpoints that can interface with a Commercial Mobile Alert System (CMAS) via wireless (e.g., 4G/5G) or wired networks.
