Abstract
Neutron Porosity measurement detectors (e.g. 3He) perform better when their distance to the borehole wall is as small as possible. To achieve this, a new tool variant with a probe, housing the detectors, was designed. Implementing such a design has the benefit that the probe can be placed further to the outside when the hole size (and thus the stabilizer size) increases.
