Abstract
The present disclosure related to a system and method for merchant category identification. The method includes extracting historical data and merchant’s transactional information. The method further include detecting miscode merchant category code based on the statistical and deep learning models. Subsequently, the method include sharing list of miscoded merchants to the business.
