Abstract
This disclosure presents a method for intelligent call transfer between computing devices (e.g., a PC and a phone). The system detects specific conditions such as low battery levels on either device, user mobility (e.g., locking the PC to leave), or varying network connectivity quality. Upon detection, the system prompts the user to transfer the ongoing call to the more suitable device, ensuring uninterrupted communication. This solution addresses common issues such as delays in connectivity and meeting disruptions, providing a seamless transition between devices during conferencing. Some of the main problems addressed are delays in connectivity, delays in meeting, reduce interruptions and Improve user productivity by proactively switching end points for better audio quality. The main advantages with this solution are seamless transition between the different devices while conferencing, remove manual switching for user, and reduce time in constantly gauging battery levels on devices.
