Abstract
Fast Ejections speeds are crucial for good printing speeds. However, cost pressures and sustainability considerations at the lowest price points are impacting device design, even to shrinking size of media output trays. To maintain output capacity, we traditionally limit ejection speeds, which hurt print performance. With this disclosed ability to modify feed speeds within feed moves, we propose to precisely eject printed media at just the right speed; while at all other times, moving as fast as practical. This rebalances the tradeoff between print speed and tray capacity for more favorable product attributes, down to the opening price point.
