Abstract

This paper describes a concave mirror based light capturing and projection configuration that utilizes 4 image projections to collectively capture the scene visible to the concave mirror. The entire concave mirror based light capturing and projection configuration will consists of 6 types of entities. They are the generally utilized sensor configuration, the composite concave mirror section, the generally utilized beam splitter, the generally utilized light blocking surface, the generally utilized small angled reflector and the generally utilized large reflector. The concave mirror based light capturing and projection configuration, by utilizing the composite concave mirror section, will have the capability to project 4 image projections of the visible scene. During this composite image projection scenario, the 4 image projections of the visible scene, will be subjected to 4 reflection procedures, which will be executed utilizing 4 containing beam splitters. The concave mirror based light capturing and projection configuration, by utilizing these 4 beam splitter based reflection procedures and by utilizing additional reflection procedures will have the capability to effectively project the 4 image projections of the visible scene onto 4 containing sensor configurations. In this scenario, each sensor configuration will collect a sub section of the total image projection of the visible scene. The concave mirror based light capturing and projection configuration, by combining the 4 image projections that will be collected by the 4 containing sensor configurations, will have the capability to produce a composite image projection of the scene visible to the composite concave mirror section.
